Childbirth Education Classes

 

I can be hired to come to your home and conduct childbirth education classes, or you can join a group class. The series consists of 3 visits covering stages of labor, newborn care, and common interventions in a home or hospital setting, comfort measures, and establishing breastfeeding. Each visit lasts about 2 hours. You will receive a folder full of information so that the family to be can read and research to decide what best suits their needs and desires. Sibling classes are also available. This class is appropriate for both home birth and doula clients. $150.00 for a 3 class session. $50.00 for one time sibling class.

Belly Casting

 

For mothers who would like to preserve their beautiful belly for a lifetime, I can help you create a belly cast in your home. You can choose to leave it plain, decorate it yourself or have me decorate it for you. The process takes about an hour. Prices range from $100- $150 and include supplies.

 

 

Belly Henna

 

To temporarily enhance the beauty of your bump, I can decorate it with henna. A non-toxic plant based temporary design that is free form and fun. Great for photos! Prices range from $75-$100 and include supplies.

 

 

Payment will need to be received prior to these services and can be made via cash, check or credit card (all major credit cards accepted). All credit card transactions will include a 3% transaction fee.
